The kit came with clear, detailed instructions, and was a snap to install.  The first thing was to determine the best place for the bottle.  American V8 Racing fabricator, Michael Ebright set the bottle in the passenger side near the transmission tunnel.  This location was chosen because its proximity to center of the car, nice and low, and helps offset the driver’s weight for optimal corner weight balance

Mounting spacers to offset the bottle from the floor were made up from 1” square steel tubing and bolted to the floorpan with grade 5 hex head bolts and metal locking nuts.

Handle location was drilled into the transmission tunnel.  A piece of 1x1 x 1/8” steel angle was used to fabricate the mount.  Two 5/16 bolts and metal locking nuts were used to fasten the mounting bracket to the tunnel.

Interior nozzle is aimed at driver’s mid section, covering both the torso and extremities.

Handle location is low and well within reach of the driver.  Keep in mind a driver’s ability to reach the handle may be compromised by the force of an accident and a driver’s line of sight downward is somewhat reduced when wearing a closed face helmet.  American V8 Racing set the handle well within easy reach and plain view of the driver.
